QUALITY
We back the T100 with lifetime warranty, reflecting what we believe is the excellent quality of the product. The T100 is made of Japanese Intermediate Modulus (IM8 and IM7) carbon. IM is more expensive to make than regular carbon and results in a lighter, stronger, and more sensitive rod. However, it is not simply a matter of higher IM being always better. The higher you go on the IM scale, the less durable & resilient the rod tends to become. With the T100, we opted for balanced approach that would provide the best combination of weight, sensitivity and strength. We ask this rod to do a lot, and we made tough enough to do it.

FISHING APPLICATIONS
Weighted bait
Nymphs / Euro Nymphing
Softbaits (e.g Nikko caddisfly larvae or hellgrammites) and Mini-jigs*
Dry or Wet flies (using the furled or pvc floating line)
*The mini-jig was something we admittedly had never tested. We've done quite a bit of testing with artificials (we are fond of the Nikko hellgrammites and caddisfly products) but had never really thought of using a mini-jig. When writer Fish Story Lori was testing our rod (she later wrote a great article about it in the Eastern Sierra Fishing Guide See Page 84), she called me one day to tell me they had just used the rod on a lake and caught several fish with it. I was certain they had used a bobber or marker rig with bait, but to my surprise Lori's husband, Tim, said he used a mini-jig. "The flexible tip works great for jigging," he said. So go figure.
